Five years ago, the Virginia governor said he thought it should be a “mother’s” decision to leave an infant who survived a brutal abortion alone to die. This fall, Virginia legislators are trying to make abortion legal throughout all nine months.
Rather than promoting communal responsibility, legal abortion puts all the responsibilities of having a child onto women, including teens who hide their pregnancies, making it even more risky to have an abortion late term.
With these constitutional amendments sweeping the nation, it is more important than ever that we show up on a state level. Pro-life feminists won’t stand by silently!
