In the darkest of times, hope rises…

My introduction for the next issue of The American Feminist® before I retire puts the 250th birthday of America in context—starting with a retrospective of how far we’ve come, and what we need to do to realize a “more perfect union.”

Like the founder of the women’s movement, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who updated the “Declaration of Independence” to include women and the right to vote in the the “Declaration of Sentiments,” Editor Joyce McCauley-Benner crafted an update to the “Declaration of Sentiments” to help us address violence and exploitation against women and children including abortion.

Our newest issue of The American Feminist® “Hope Rising” seeks to explore this evolution—and how in the midst of this darkness, hope rises:

Coming Soon: Hope Rising

Women Deserve Better writer Elizabeth Troyer explores the issue of fraud and coercion using chemical abortion pills.

Editor Joyce McCauley-Benner explains the evolution of violence in the digital age, including the disturbing growth of sextortion.
